After one and a half years of research and mid-term of the project DISCOVERY, the conference „Co-funded Call mid-term seminar“ of the ERA-NET SusFood2 collaboration will take place between November 28, 2019 and November 29, 2019 in Ghent (Belgium) to present and discuss current achievements.
The project DISCOVERY – DISaggregation of COnventional VEgetable press cakes by novel techniques to Receive new products and to increase the Yield – has started in 2018.
The transnational project consortium consists of Kaunas University of Technology (Kaunas, Lithuania), the University of Milan (Milan, Italy), Fraunhofer UMSICHT (Oberhausen, Germany) and the Berief Food GmbH (Beckum, Germany).
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No 696231 and has been cofounded by ERA-NETs SudFood2. Additionally the work is financially supported by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) through the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE), grant number 2818ERA12B.
ERA-NET SusFood2 project DISCOVERY is funded by the Lithuanian Ministry of Agriculture under the Project Financing Agreement No. TM-18-1 dated 25-08-2018. The duration of the project is 36 months (01/06/2018 to 05/31/2021) with a total funding of approximately 500.000 € . The project is implemented under the program “Support for international research” of the Sustainable Food Production and Consumption (Theme: Innovations in Food Production Technologies and Products).
